iSteve: The Book of Jobs

June 19, 2011

I think Steve Jobs is a pretty cool guy. I mean, you don’t have to love Apple to admit that he’s a clever businessman and has founded an incredibly successful company. That’s why I’ll be reading iSteve: The Book of Jobs when it’s released in March of next year.

Written by  Walter Isaacson, the biography delves into Jobs’ professional and personal life. Amazon says:

Drawn from three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews Isaacson has conducted with Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs’ family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors, iSteve is the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation.

I’m looking forward to reading this biography because I’m fascinated by the people who are creating the next big thing and not just playing catch up. I remember when the iPhone was first announced, I was like, “Apple’s making a phone?!? HAHAHA Why would they do that? They make computers, not phones.” Clearly I am not one of those forward-thinking people 🙂
